In the Hornet's Nest go to a blog named One Fast Squirrel (he's a hardcore Paul Tracy teamer from No-Cal) and check out the U-tube posted on the most recent blog.
Hey B-horn, speaking of talent, keep your eye on the local Utah gal, Abby Larson. She picked up cycling this year after foot surgery and after *retiring* from x-country skiing (she skied in the 10k, 30k, and 15k pursuit in the 2006 Olympics, and nearly qualified for the marathon at the summer Olympic trials). She recently won the Cat 1 women’s group at the Snowbird Hill Climb and then the Climber’s Trophy. She’s 28 years old, 5’7” tall and weighs around 110 lbs (this is near 7% body fat. She is a freaky strong beast for a newbie to cycling. She’s got the aerobic engine and power to make waves in hills and on the flats. All the while, she’s pursuing her doctorate in ESS at the U and is one of the nicest and most humble people you’ll meet.
Yeah, I saw the result at for the Climb Fest but missed her when she went podium bound... great time, but then again ex-oly gal. Billy the Oly-man started racing this year and ripped it up in the CAT 3's... with little cycling specific training...so two 4 two for the Oly's...
Send her this way blog wise and I'll try to arrange a meeting with our local Lipton teamer Nicole Evans, they would probably get along well and may want to climb together. Also, Inge Travis from the P.C. is a rippin climber when she shows up to play.
